The Tao of Grilling from Home
When you make a decision to get yourself a griddle the first choice you have to make is to go out and buy one from the local garden or do-it-yourself centre or to make your own. You could be the type of person that would never entertain the thought of building your own BBQ griddle, but since your studying this article I am assuming that you're at least considering the possibility! So let me try and get you over the line and convince you why it's such a good idea!
One of the most typical reasons a lot of people will select the DIY route is money, and it's a perfectly good reason, anything other than the most basic store purchased BBQ (such as jenn air grills) can run into hundreds of bucks, and when all is cleared up, all we need it to do is cook our food, and a homemade grill will do this as well as ANY store purchased griddle.
It's a great hum, and something you will never get from a store acquired BBQ, irrespective of how many features it has!
Another good motivator for getting off the lounger and building your own is the freedom of design and expression that planning something yourself, from the start offers. perhaps working with metal isn't for you, no problem, you can build your own brick BBQ griddle. This is a welcome addition to any garden, and when done well, can really add a little extra price to the house!!
Whether you are using brick or steel, building a griddle or a smoker, the principle is the same, with a little bit of eagerness and effort, coupled with a healthy dollop of good information, you can build something with your own hands that may pay you back with quiet satisfaction each time you use it!
